Online Yoga

I’m offering two online classes a week at the moment, open to all abilities. Please get in touch with any enquiries. If you’ve never done yoga with me before, you will need to fill in a medical questionnaire before your first class. You can find it here.

To get ready for zoom, either download their app if using your phone or tablet, or go to zoom.us and register for a free account if using your computer.

How to register for a class:

To join a class, simply email me (contact@yogatreestudio.co.uk) and I will send you a meeting ID and a passcode.

Props to have ready:

You will need a yoga mat, yoga belt, blocks, blanket and a bolster. Please don’t worry if you don’t have any yoga props, you can improvise with a scarf for a belt and books instead of  blocks. Just have a small cushion and a blanket handy. If you are ready to invest in your own props you can find a good selection at Yogamatters

Online classes in April

There is no yoga between the 5th and 11th of April

Outdoor classes in April

Weather permitting, there will be a socially distanced outdoor class, outside the studio. Bring your own mat.  It is essential to book in advance.

SATURDAY 10, 17, 24th April 9:30 – 11:00 

£10 payed by BACS or cash


Payment

£6 per class or £50 for a block of 10 payed in advance.

You can use up the block payment for any class you want, they don’t have to be taken consecutively. Once you’ve used your 10 classes up, you can start again with another block.

Payments by bank transfer (preferably), details given on request and upon booking a class or via PayPal.


Private classes

I also offer private 1-2-1’s via zoom or live in my studio (depending on current situation). Private classes are helpful if you are recovering from an injury, illness or if you need help with a particular issue, such as postural imbalances, back pain, anxiety, insomnia etc.  The lesson is tailored to your specific needs and may be dynamic or restorative, we may use props such as chairs, wall, blocks and belts and your session might include pranayama and meditation and lifestyle advice. If you are looking for a program for your home practice, you will get a sheet with a sequence and instructions.

We reserve the right to change the schedule or cancel classes at short notice due to illness or due to unforeseen circumstances.

Bundle of 20 classes

If you want to practice at home in your own time, I have a bundle of 20 classes on Vimeo, yours to keep for 60 days from time of purchase. There is a great variety of practices from vinyasa flow to classes focusing on different parts of the body, to yin yoga, restorative yoga, somatic movement, meditation, Yoga Nidra with some poetry and inspirational readings.

It is a real bargain of only £25.


Disclaimer

You are about to take part in a class which will be live streamed to a restricted number of participants. During the class, you (or anyone else who comes into the frame, including children) may be visible to other participants. Please switch off your video if you do not wish to be seen by other participants or may be disturbed during the class by other people. No recording of the video will be made.

Although there are tremendous benefits to overall health and wellbeing, yoga can be physically challenging and carries with it risks that cannot entirely be eliminated. Please note that although you may appear on video link during the live stream of the class, the instructor may not be able to see you clearly or instruct you individually as is possible in a face to face teaching scenario.

  • Neither your teacher nor the British Wheel of Yoga are qualified to express an opinion thatyou are fit to safely participate in any British Wheel of Yoga organised sessions or any British Wheel of Yoga trained teacher’s yoga classes. You must obtain professional or specialist advice from your doctor before participating if you are in any doubt.
  • Clear enough space to safely carry out the exercises without hitting items around you.
  • Check that the device you are using is securely positioned and will not interfere with yourmovement.
  • Listen to your body. Follow any safety instructions or suitable modifications or adjustments tothe exercise as instructed.
